Io e mio marito siamo appena ritornati dalla nostra vacanza in Italia.Per me è stata la seconda
volta mentre è stata la prima di mio marito.
Io sono di origini italiane e per me è stato molto importante che questa visita in Italia abbia
mostrato a mio marito quella che è la vera essenza della cultura italiana e nel contempo l'aspetto
turistico di cosa l'Italia ha da offrire.
Ho cercato per molto tempo e con accanimento per trovare il posto giusto per rendere quest'esperienza
possibile e quando mi sono imbattuta in VillaRomantica; in Massa Lubrense - in qualche modo ho
sentito di aver trovato ciò che stavo cercando.
Ciò grazie all' ampia presenza sul sito internet di fotografie che ci mostravano questo luogo, bello e rustico luogo residenziale
via di fuga con tutto ecc Probabilmente per la possibilità di vedere le molte foto che
sono disponibili sul sito che mostrano i luoghi di questa bella e rustica residenza tra le piante di limoni e di olive
e gli stupendi panorami che l'area ha da offrire sapendo nel contempo che Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano,
Capri e tutte le altre favolose città da visitare sono appena poco distanti.
La decisione di trascorrere le nostre vacanze presso VillaRomantica non è stata difficile.
Finchè non siamo arrivati non abbiamo capito quanto fosse vero.
Maria, Giovanni, Antonio e la loro gentile e sincera ospitalità erano più di quanto avessi mai immaginato.
Dal momento che mio marito ed io abbiamo visto la faccia di Giovanni sorridente ed il suo caldo benvenuto
quando ci siamo incontrati alla stazione; l'entusiasmo di Antonio e la sua disponibilità ad aiutare e tutti
gli sforzi e le preoccupazioni di Maria per essere sicura che fossimo realmente a nostro agio.
La villa era immacolata, stupendamente arredata con gusto moderno, completamente accessoriata al nostro
arrivo; qualcosa di inaspettato che ci ha fatto sentire benvenuti in questo posto che abbiamo chiamato casa per
il tempo del nostro soggiorno.
Le passeggiate verso la città erano sempre una delle nostre occupazioni preferite e quando avevamo abbbastanza tempo
ci avventuravamo per esplorare nuovi sentieri tra propietà ognuna con una propria personalità.
Abbiamo visto piante di cachi,di pere, di noci, olive, limoni, kiwi, alberi di fichi e vigneti.
E' stato una deliziosa esperienza.
I negozi locali ed il mercatino erano molto piacevoli da visitare e sono stati una delle cose che ho più cercato.
Tra tutti i posti raccomandati da Giovanni che abbiamo visitato c'era una spiaggia che aveva dei panorami
mozzafiato ed un mare stupendo.Non siamo mai stati delusi di nessuna delle escursioni che abbiamo deciso di fare.
Oh, ci
mancherà
molto il poter ascoltare il bel suono delle campane della vicina chiesa; la prima volta che l'ho sentito mi ha fatto
quasi piangere. Che meraviglioso posto. Che piacere.
Non dimenticherò mai la nostra ultima sera, l'ospitalità di Maria, il dolce saluto di Giovanni ed Antonio con una
così affettuosa espressione sui loro volti.
Il loro pensiero mi farà sempre sorridere.

My husband and I just returned from our trip to Italy.
It was my second and my husband's first.
My being of Italian descent;
it was very important to me that this visit to Italy was one that would leave my husband with
a real sense of the Italian culture while at the same time experience the tourist aspect of what
Italy has to offer.
I searched long and hard to find just the right place to make such an experience
possible and when I came across villaromantia; in Massa Lubrense - somehow I got the feeling I found
just what I was looking for.
Maybe it was opportunity to view the many photos that were available on the
website that showed the grounds of this beautiful and very local residential getaway with all it's olive
and lemon trees and the beautiful views the area has to offer while at the same time knowing that Sorrento;
Amalfi, Positano, Capri and all of the other fabulous towns to visit are just a short distance away.
The decision to spend our holiday at villaromantica was an easy one.
It wasn't until we actually arrived that we realized
how true this was.
Maria,Giovanni, Antonio and
their gracious and very sincere hospitality was more than I ever would
have imagined.
From the moment my husband and I saw Giovanni's smiling
face and warm welcome as he met us at the train station; Antonio's
enthusiasm and always willingness to lend a hand and all of Maria's
efforts and concern at making sure we were as comfortable as we could
possibly be.
The villa was immaculate; beautifully decorated with a
modern flair, fully equipped, and upon our arrival; some unexpected
surprises to make us feel welcomed in this place we called home for the
time of our stay.
The walks to town were always one of our favorite things to do and at times when time allowed us, we'd venture
off to explore new paths of beautiful local properties each with their own unique personality.
We saw persimmon trees, prickly pear cactus plants, walnut trees, olive and lemon trees; kiwi vines fig
trees and grape vines. It was a delightful experience.
The local shops and markets were a pleasure to go
to and was one of the things I looked forward to the most.
Among the many places Giovanni recommended we
visit was a beach that turned out to have breathtaking views and the most beautiful waters.
We were never disappointed with any of the outings we chose to do.
Oh; listening to the beautiful sounds of the local
church bells will be well missed also.The first time I heard them; it put
tears to my eyes. Such a wonderful place to be. Such pure delight.
I will never forget our last evening; Maria's
hospitality; Giovanni and Antonio's sweet goodbye with such warm
expressions on each of their faces.
Thinking of them will always put a
smile on my face.
